1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and services provided by Steph’s Business Studio.

By using this website or engaging services, you agree to these terms.

 

2. About Us

Steph’s Business Studio provides business support services including:

  • Bookkeeping (AAT qualified)

  • Business start-up support

  • Wix website creation

  • Social media support

  • Location: Witney

3. Services

All services are tailored to individual client needs.

Details of services, pricing, and timelines will be agreed before work begins.

4. Payment Terms
  • One-off services: A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, prior to final delivery.

  • Ongoing services: Fees are charged on a weekly or monthly basis (as agreed) and are due upon receipt of invoice.

  • Work may be paused or withheld if payments are not made on time.


5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Respond to requests in a timely manner

  • Provide required content, documents, or approvals

Delays in providing information may affect timelines.

6. Bookkeeping & Financial Services

Steph’s Business Studio provides bookkeeping support based on the information provided by the client.

Clients are responsible for the accuracy of their financial data.

Services aim to support compliance with HMRC requirements, including Making Tax Digital (MTD).

This service does not replace professional tax or legal advice.


7. Website Services

For Wix website creation:

  • Clients must provide content, images, and branding where required

  • Revisions are limited to what is agreed at the start of the project

  • Once a website is approved and handed over, ongoing updates are the client’s responsibility unless support is agreed

 

8. Social Media Support

Social media services are guidance-based unless otherwise agreed.

Clients are responsible for posting content and managing their accounts.

9. Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits and payments made may be non-refundable once work has begun. Ongoing services can be cancelled with notice (to be agreed in advance). Any work completed up to the cancellation date must be paid for.


10. Liability

Steph’s Business Studio is not liable for:

  • Business losses or missed opportunities

  • Errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the client

  • Third-party platform issues (e.g. Wix, social media platforms, software providers)

Liability for Penalties & Fines

Steph’s Business Studio takes all reasonable care to ensure work is completed accurately and in line with current regulations.

However, no responsibility is accepted for any penalties, fines, or additional charges incurred as a result of:

  • Incorrect, incomplete, or late information provided by the client

  • Delays in client communication or approvals

  • Failure by the client to meet deadlines or obligations

  • Errors originating from third-party systems or providers

The client remains fully responsible for their legal and tax obligations, including submissions to HMRC.

HMRC Enquiries & Investigations

Steph’s Business Studio provides bookkeeping and business support services based on the information supplied by the client.

While all reasonable care is taken to ensure accuracy and compliance, Steph’s Business Studio accepts no responsibility or liability for any enquiries, investigations, or inspections carried out by HMRC.

The client remains fully responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of all information provided

  • Meeting all tax obligations and deadlines

  • Retaining appropriate records and documentation

Steph’s Business Studio is not liable for any penalties, fines, or outcomes arising from an HMRC enquiry or investigation.

Support during an enquiry or investigation may be provided where agreed, and may be subject to additional fees.

Scope of Services & Professional Advice

Steph’s Business Studio provides bookkeeping and business support services, along with general guidance and advice based on experience.

These services do not constitute legal, tax, or financial advice, and Steph’s Business Studio is not acting as a solicitor, accountant, or regulated financial advisor.

Clients are responsible for seeking appropriate professional advice where required, including legal or tax advice.

Steph’s Business Studio is not responsible for any decisions made or actions taken by the client based on the information or guidance provided.


11. Intellectual Property

All materials created remain the property of Steph’s Business Studio until full payment is received.

Once paid, the client has the right to use the materials for their business.

12. Confidentiality

All client information is treated as confidential and will not be shared without consent, except where required by law.

13. Website Use

Content on this website is for general information only and may be updated without notice.

You must not copy or reproduce content without permission.

14. Changes to Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
